I have decided to create a brand for my range as part of my project. The project is very much based around professionalism so I wanted to produce a project demonstrating a company and how I would present my ideas as part of a brand.
I have named my company "CreepeeRobotsInc."- An original mix of "Creepy Crawlies" and Robotic themes. I believe it would relate to young boys the way my designs will, it sums up the theme well and the spelling is eye-catching and childish I feel.
I have designed a logo for my brand and began to design swing tags:
I am currently working on the back of the swing tag which will include more info of the company, and the garment it will be attached to.
Trying to make it look professional, I am taking the time to decide on certain factors so I will produce the correct brand.
One factor I am deciding over is the font for the "boys wear" title.
Although I want to continue to relate to children, therefore perhaps picking the children's-writing style, I also need to relate to the parent, or individual who will be purchasing the garment. And as a designer garment I feel it will be of a higher value and therefore the information on the swing tag should be similar to a high-end designer adults wear. I have already related to the child with the logo and the design, but need to sell the garments to the busy, well-earning and designer clothes wearing parent.
