In order to present my concept as a brand, I have decided to create a mock-up website for it, demonstrating the clothes my company will sell, as well as the custom option.
I have research other children's wear websites, such as the example below. "Notsobig" have a simple website, and feature designer children's wear.
I am basing my website design upon "Notsobig"'s website, below is the development for CreepeeRobotsInc. site:
^I kept the model from "Notsobig" as I felt he fits quite well with my customer audience, as well as the hoodie he is wearing which I will be able to work on later.
^Similar to "notsobig", I have included the ranges (Boy's clothes; Custom-made garments) and have specified what is available, (Hoodies; t-shirts; shorts; underwear)
^I felt the white background was too plain since I had deleted the brown background. so I included one of my characters in a stripe, position carefully behind the model.
^I added another stripe and a smaller character. This was to 1. make the back a little more symmetrical, and 2. to highlight the option bars. I also used photoshop to add my own design to the model's hoodie.
^ This is a mock-up of the web page which would open when choosing the "Boys clothes" option on the left-hand side. I have kept in colour theme with the rest of the website and used garment flats to display what my designs would look like on real garments. I have also deleted the "underwear" option because I have decided to only design for hoodies, t-shirt and shorts.
Below are my final website mock-ups.
I am happy with these as a means to present my branding and concept. However, whilst still designing my garment range, I think I will keep an open mind about possibly designing the website further.
